Also, I read about an experiment that will help teach children about decay. Poke holes (like with a pencil) in a seemingly perfect apple. Set in on the counter for a few days and observe.
You could also sketch a tooth on a yellow sheet of construction paper. Paint it white using and old toothbrush (or, more creatively, dental floss.)
