Father's Day began at our house early. Mr. Intensity decided to wake us at 6:30. We were trying to sleep in. What were we thinking?
Making the most of it, I started a big breakfast (which is rare indeed at our house!) Afterwards, lil man wanted to make popcicles from the set we bought last night at the Dollar Tree. We used Megret's recipe of yogurt & orange juice.
At church, Mr. Intensity and a few of his wee friends gave the call to worship - complete with hand motions. I was sad not to remember my camera! They were really cute.
1 Corinthians 15:3,4 & 5 Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures and he was seen!
After church, hubby cleaned his pistol. What's more manly than that on Father's Day?
and, I gave him this gift.

You know what is strange about this picture? JI is just on the side, not touching anything! Did he stay that way, or did he "help"?
John was very clear (& stern) about instructing him about gun safety, that "If you ever find a gun, you should not touch it - but go tell an adult immediately." They talked quite a bit about it. And you know JI loves to hear long explanations...lots of "whys? and tell me again, Dad."
