While it didn't make the list for respect (yesterday), manners are certainly a HUGE part of honoring others. Here's a list of 12 rules of etiquette for children from the 50's.

The Pink Teapot also has a post today on manners for children.

I love it! I completely agree that manners are a significant part of honoring our parents. If we can teach our children to respect others, they will respect us as parents. It's always easier said than done, but you have great ideas...what a journey it is!
