John and I went last night - it's POWERFUL. I'm not a "crier" - but I cried on several occasions. The acting isn't the best, but the story is overwhelmingly powerful. Really powerful.
Most of the actors worked for free - the budget for the movie was only $500K. John and I couldn't stop talking about all that we liked about the movie - and we can be quite critical about "Christian" movies.
If at all possible, go see this movie while it's in the theater. For the edification of your own marriage, to have a tool to encourage other hurting marriages, and to support a wholesome movie. If you've seen it, I'd love to hear your thoughts about it in the comments.

We went opening weekend. I thought it was great. I want to see it again. We were able to go with many couples from our church and our fire department. It is a great movie with a great message.
I on the other hand am a crier. I cry very easily. Sniff. Do you think I will be able to handle it? heeheee
I'm glad to hear that it is appropriate for children. I have an 8 year old. It might be fun to bring him along, instead of leaving him with a sitter.
Thanks for stopping by! Come often!
