Mr. Intensity found something a bit peculiar at the farmers' market this morning.
It looks like a potato but is yellow like a lemon.

When sliced it looks like squash.

It is
lemon cucumber. I'm no cucumber connoisseur but think the taste is similar to a regular cucumber.
In the next picture, can you tell which stick is organic butter? It kills me to pay twice for organic butter, so I buy it sparingly. We eat about two pounds of butter a week.

I have sprouts!! Yay! They're
white swiss chard sprouts. Last night we had a nice rain and it has rained on and off today.

Hubby's parents are coming next week. The quilt on the guest bed was a wedding gift from his Grandma Krout. This room has been transformed today. It had been our storage room since we don't have a garage. Now you can see the bed and the floor.

I have never heard of that type of cucumber. I did see a yellow watermelon the other day, I think I am going to buy it to try it!
