Weekend Snapshots

He doesn't turn 7 until Thursday but birthday fever has begun. Aunt Whitney gave him these Star Wars cupcake papers and toppers.  He loves them.
We tried a new cycling mode of transport for Sister.  I think she liked it better than the seat behind me, but she still didn't last as long as we'd like her to.  Note the hand in the hair - this is what she does when she is tired.  One thumb or finger in the mouth and the other hand plays with her hair.
She will be 16 months this week and is not yet walking.  But close.  Hubby put on her first pair of shoes today and it was really funny watching her trying to figure them out.
Lastly, tonight we decorated cupcakes for him to take to Comm. Central tomorrow.  He wanted to use icing in a can (yech!) but it ran out after 19 cupcakes (yay!).  I made this icing for the remainder and it is delicious.  Seriously good.  I'm not sure I'll ever make butter cream again.
That was our weekend (minus some honey-do projects, that I should have taken pictures of: The Great Garage Clean Out '11, and hanging of curtains.)  How was yours?
