Before telling you more about the camping trip that I didn't experience, let me praise this handsome hunk. He's one heck-of-a dad and husband. I'm so thankful for him and that he wants to spend the entire weekend with his intense son. A weekend, that begins and ends, with 6 hours in the car -without a DVD player. Ours broke. :(
There was much testosterone to be expended on this weekend. Hubby said the boys spent a lot of time wrestling in the camper. The dads sat outside and talked and listened to the giggles and grunts from within.
The boys also worked feverishly on this moat and castle creation. It is complete with names. Mr. Intensity told me some of the names. Very unique names.

If you squint and look beyond the trees you'll see the lake. Hubby said it was a beautiful campground. Then again, they were in Kentucky. It's one of the prettiest states in the Union.
The sillier side:
Here are the award winning dads who all graduated from Speed Scientific School with degrees in Chemical Engineering. Marvin (in red) is the only one who is an engineer today. He lives in east Tennessee. Scott, in yellow, is an orthodontist in Louisville.
I really hope *with fingers crossed* that this is an annual thing. I had a great time.

this is so cute. the pic with the fish needs to be framed in ji's room! what you are doing is, by far, the best way to do a camping trip. my sister and brother in law just took our kids. so sweet of your hub and the other dads!
That was fun. I loved seeing all the smiles! What a super time they had. I loved the picture of JI and his fish! Was that his first?
Me too!! I say we start planning their next one!! :) Glad you weekend was a great one!!
And I'd say that your landlords are beyond blessed to have you all living there. You are the best thing to ever happen to them....it looks great Julie!!
