However, Hubby informed me that Mr. Intensity noticed the cabinets right away. The very perceptive child said, "Dad! Come look what silly thing Mom has done now!" He was referring to the drawer pulls.
Not taking off the doors seriously reduces the project time. Eight years ago I painted cabinets in our first house and it was a colossal project because I took off the doors. Most of the cabinet doors at this house don't close properly so I was terrified of getting them put back on in the right order. As long as you paint S-L-O-W-L-Y around the hinges it's not a problem. And painting with doors on makes the project go F-A-S-T!!
Also this weekend, I painted doors in our hallway. Five to be exact. They'd been hung shortly after we moved in, but I've not made the time to paint them.
And, I painted this sweet lil gem from a yard sale. It had been gold. We use it as a night light in the bathroom.
One of the highlights was working in my flower bed. That deserves a post all to itself.
Do I need to reiterate? I had a great weekend!
