My sweet friend, Bea Hendrix treated us to this local diner. She also took us to the quilting store, The Stitchin' Post. I was in heaven. :) Mr. Intensity was in a carb coma so he was mild.
*Side note* and I hope saying this doesn't come back to bite me: He's been progressively calmer in recent months. I'm not ready to call him a sweet boy, but he is mellowing in his old age. :)
Back to The Stitchin' Post. Bea wants me to learn to quilt - and I want to learn!! So, she has paid for me to take a class in the fall. Isn't that a sweet treat?
Anyone in LR want to join me for the class? Warning: if you step one foot in the store you will be smitten. They have really fun fabrics, helpful staff, and examples of smocking galore! Here's for hoping for a little girl one day. :)
