Hubby went to a conference early Thursday morning and so Mr. Intensity and I have enjoyed a lot of quality time together. Two years ago I would have cried at the thought of three days solo with the kid. He's changed so much in the last 6-12 months, he's hardly the same kid. I am so thankful. Seriously, I am so thankful. I feel like a different person because he is a different person. I don't cry at night or dread waking in the morning. It was that bad at one point.
Last night I helped celebrate a friend's birthday at ZaZa's. Yummy wood fired pizza and salad. I skipped the gelato in order to eat a cupcake at Cupcakes on Kavanaugh, only to discover they were closed!! The summer hours start Monday. Boo. I came home and ate 4 of Holly's "Slap Yo Momma's Chocolate Chip Cookies."

Hi Julie. I just love how honest you are about being a mom to John Issac. It's no doubt an encouragment to many moms. Praise God for his faithfulness!
