The attraction? Flying W Ranch serves chuckwagon style dinner (for up to 1100 people a night!) and fabulous live musical entertainment.
One of the perks for us was sitting with a family from Denmark. The father was in Colorado on business (wind turbines).
The next morning, we visited Focus on the Family. A few months ago, Mr. Intensity began listening to Adventures in Odyssey. A friend from church let us borrow a huge bag of tapes. We've since found it on iTunes.
Of all the things we've experienced this summer, he was most excited about visiting Whit's End. It's the soda shop where the children in Adventures in Odyseey meet.
Below is a picture of Mr. Intensity learning to make sounds for the radio program.
Want to guess what this is?
It's the wardrobe to enter into Narnia. We bought the radio theater drama version (20+ hours of listening entertainment) for our return trip. Worth. Every. Penny.

What fun memories!
How absolutely cool!!!! My kids LOVE Odyssey (and so do their parents...'cause it makes car trips much more bearable). I had no idea there was an actual "Whit's End" that can be visited. Wow. We'll somehow have to see that one day. Glad y'all have had a good time!
That's so cool! I used to listen to Adventures in Odyssey all the time as a kid- what a neat memory to have :)
