How does your garden grow?

Here's a picture of the farmer's market I frequent, in North Little Rock. Everything is local (which isn't always the case for the RiverMarket in Little Rock.)  It's small, but there is a lot of variety.  Today I bought cucumbers, 2 kinds of peppers, tomatoes, garlic, peaches, corn, 2 kinds of raw cheese, eggs, and a frozen chicken.
Remember when my "garden" looked like this? Now it looks like this:
The cherry tomatoes are about to go crazy with fruit, and I've already harvested several green bell peppers.  It's been a great experiment; I'm looking forward to the fall when we'll make a go at having a square foot garden in the back.

I love our local farmer's market.

That square foot garden thing looks awesome. I may have to give that a shot next year. With all the cooking I'm doing, it would be great to have some home-grown stuff, especially herbs and some veggies like cucumbers - I eat about 4 mini cucumbers a day!!

I keep thinking of posting a photo of my community garden plot, but never remember to take the camera. My cherry tomatoes are going crazy and I have a lot of eggplants coming in. Another nice benefit of our cool summer is that we have been enjoying kale and chard several times a week! I look forward to seeing how your square foot garden works out.
