Thanks, Meg for the paper pumpkin idea. We're really into cutting strips of paper these days. I knew it would be a hit.
The paper chain has now become an obsession. It is long enough to run the length of our house. And, I don't think he's quite finished. This makes me happy. It takes a lot of time to cut and staple that much paper. Time that he's not destroying something else.
Drawing with chalk was also a big hit today. I forget that it's the simple things. {Note the bungee cord around his neck. Never know when you'll need one, ya know.}
Best of all, a picture of the babe. At my appointment on Monday, I found out I'm 10 weeks along which makes the due date May 10. The doctor said the chances for a miscarriage at this point are slim.
What's really fun is that both of my sister in-laws are pregnant. This means my mother-in-love has only hormonal daughters-in-loves. Lauren is due any day. Jen is due a week before me. We're all having our second baby. The cousins will have a ball, won't they?!
And, yesterday a friend called to tell me she's due a week before me, too! Crazy thing because she was on the pill (didn't miss a one) and her man was scheduled for the *snip snip* on Friday.
God has a funny sense of humor, doesn't he?

Very cool! Hearing Little Man's heartbeat for the first time (just two days before Christmas!) was the best thing I have ever heard after all of our heartache. I hope you're taking it easy!
