Snow Day!

It started snowing today which is quasi unusual for Arkansas. Usually it's ice.

Since Hubby is in Fiji (at the beach yesterday, argh) and no kids on our street, I played in the snow with Mr. Intensity. We said hello to the neighbor.

Then came in for hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn.

My mom went out for fresh snow to make snow cream.

He went to bed with a headache from too much sugar; can't imagine why.

So far we have about 4 or 5 inches and I think it is going to snow all night. Mom is scheduled to depart tomorrow afternoon... we'll see.

In other news, Mr. Intensity painted, in his words, "a museum" for me. I'll let you guess my favorite piece.

And Sister? Looking cute as ever. Today's church outfit:

I heart smocking.

Yesterday we took Gigi for lunch at Community Bakery.

Wow, that is a lot of snow for Arkansas! We're bracing ourselves here for whatever happens to make it up this way... Is that popcorn made with the coconut oil? That was probably one of my favorite things the entire summer I was at staff training!

Mandy - you bet it was made with coconut oil! Popcorn any other way doesn't taste as good to me. :)

Thanks for the pictures! I'll bet the neighbor loved her "snow greeting". It looks like you had such fun! Glad you know how to drive in snow!
