Ashley's at The Capital Hotel

While John Isaac was at SEEK this week, Mom and I went downtown for lunch with Caroline. We ate at the very swanky Ashley's.

I know I'm not supposed to compare my children.  But I would have NEVER brought my son here at this age.

house made pimento cheese and crackers.  Super yum!

The chef at this restaurant works overtime to serve fresh and local food.  He preserves much of it in peak season - impressive, eh?  Mom got a green salad with grilled chicken and sorghum dressing.  Caroline and I shared the pâté.  It was all very yummy.
