Cinco de Mayo

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with gusto. While many Phonecians celebrate by going to Rocky Point, we stayed home and celebrated with friends and lots of food....Mexican food.

Below you see Mr. Intensity bamming the store-bought pinata while Grandpa was pulling it up and down for more of a challenge. On the left, Oliver is trying to bust our remaining (read: surviving) homemade pinata. In the picture on the right, you'll see Mr. Intensity's victory. Wish I'd captured his facial expression when he whacked it. It was intense!

Kiddos looking for loot.

Probably the highlight of the evening was when John's dad presented to him a sword. You can read John's thoughts about it here.
