HomeDepot Kids' Day

On the first Saturday of the month Home Depot sponsors a free kids' project. JI loves doing them with Daddy and I love a few minutes to myself. He's been doing them for over a year now - as is evidenced by the collection of pins on his apron. The kids get a new pin for each project and HomeDepot frequently gives them new kid-sized aprons.

When the boys came home, I wanted to take a picture of the finished project. Mr. Intensity wanted to take a picture of me...wearing the newest pin (almost covered by my hand.) Here I am in all my Saturday-morning-no-shower-glory.

He also wanted a picture of Daddy but at the last minute decided he wanted to be in the picture, too...acting silly.

Hehe - we just took our boys to Home Depot yesterday & did the same craft. It was our first time trying it out, and the boys loved it...although my 18mo old was a little scary with the hammer!

Yes, Thanks for sharing! I just showed my hubby and he's game for the next one. We didn't know that Home Depot did this, and my son WOULD LOVE DOING THIS. Another great idea from your super blog. Blessings!
