Random Julie Game

My friend, Julie in Hungary was tagged by Julie in California to post about random things.  Since my name is also Julie, I feel compelled to join the Julie game to reveal randomness about my life.

First, I'm a bit obsessed with my chef's knife.  I even travel with it.  If everything else was stripped away in my kitchen, I would still want this knife.  It is awesome.  I use it everyday.  Seriously, if you don't have a good knife - go now and put it on your wishpot list - chopping for you is too frustrating!  I also like my Henckels paring knife (but the chef knife is the BEST).

Next for Julie in Hungary, I have a purple bathroom, too!
But what I'm trying to expose is not a crazy closet.  Because, it's not actually a closet.  It's a shower.  We don't need another shower.  We "need" another closet.  The boxes are full of china that I haven't used in 3 years (of living in Phoenix).

Random thing #3 is from my patio.  It's the condensation line from our air conditioner.  I think it's a major design flaw.  It drips to a one square foot patch of dirt, which quickly becomes mud and a mosquito breeding ground - right next to my door!  What an eye-sore.  In a week or so, I'll remove the bucket (b.c humidity is non-existent after monsoon season).
So, what do I do?  I put a beautiful black bucket to catch the drips and use the water for my flowers.  I tried to disguise the eye sore with the plant.  I'm really surprised it's still alive.  It was a dying indoor potted planted.  It revived when I dropped it in the ground.

Random thing #4 is from Louisville, KY.  It's a philodendron plant that I started from a cutting I took from UofL's campus in 1999.  The terra cotta pot is from my grandparents' house (in L'ville).  If you knew all that this poor plant has been through, you'd be surprised it was still alive.
Last, but not least, is random thing #5.  I was supposed to think of 7, but I totally racked my brain coming up with 100 things about me.  Below is a book case that I love dearly.  My dad made it.

Did I ever tell you that I LOVE the pic of you and JI for your profile pic. Great, if only I could get Eli to do one with me!
