Instead of buying new bottles, I refill spices from the bulk section of Sprouts (natural food store). Once home, I cut the bottom corner of the bag and used it as a funnel.
It cost a whopping $0.80 to fill my cumin jar. You can also buy it on-line.

I do this too, but mostly because they only sell them in packets here... so I have to. I brought over my bottles from the states and reuse them...
I wish we had Sprout's here.
