At My Parents' House

Here are a few photos from the last week at my parents' house on the farm.

This is Mom with her apon, one of 8 I made for gifts. Below is my sis (Whitney) with her daughters Layla (2y.o) and Haley (7.5 y.o).

The boy cousins got sleeping bags and loved them. L to R: Devan (5y.o), Nolan (4.5 y.o.) and Mr. Intensity. They also got matching jammies.

My dad is a handy craftsman and made the kiddos rubber band guns. My father-in-law also made Mr. Intensity a marshmallow gun from PVC. Huge hit.

The kids also enjoyed making gum drop Christmas trees.
Gigi (my mom) put the kids to work in the yard. They enjoyed bossing each other around. While feeding the cows with my dad, Mr. Intensity found the remains of a cow and brought some home. He has enjoyed feeding the birds, fish, and cows... and riding the four-wheeler. Funny quote of the season "You gotta wear a bit of camo every day."

Hayden has the same jammies! I made him a cowboy costume for Christmas. I hope to post photos tonight. Oh and I made aprons for Christmas...but only 4. Too funny! I feel like the girl who wore the same outfit to the school dance. Praying for you all during this time of waiting and transition. Get a McAlister's sweet tea for me while you are in LR.
