Fizzy Clean Soda Shaker

There's nothing quite like the fizz of baking soda and vinegar.  Last week, Mr. Intensity begged to play volcano again.  He used about a liter of vinegar and 2 cups of soda.  Cheap entertainment, I tell you.

He's not the only one that thinks it's a cool experiment.  I like it too.

I've been using baking soda and vinegar on my cutting boards.  I read somewhere that it helps to get out the onion and garlic smell.  I cook with a lot of both.

In Little Rock, one of my friends put baking soda in a cheese-shaker-thingy.  Now, why didn't I think of that?!

So I copied her.  Works for me.

My sister-in-love has another idea for a cheap disinfectant.  I just need to get another spray bottle for that to work for me.

Baking soda and vinegar is always a huge hit around here! Try putting it in a soda bottle with a balloon stretched across the opening. I bet Mr. I would love that!

What a great idea for the baking soda!!! Thak you so much. We'll have to try that here.

I can't use or be near most chemical cleaners because my body is way too sensitive to them. I'm always looking for good all natural cleaning ideas that actually work.

We usually use a spay bottle with vinegar and rubbing alcohol. Sometimes we use baking soda, but it's kind of a hassle. The salt shaker idea will solve that problem.
