Palm Sunday + Resources for Easter

The children walked through the aisles of church saying, "Hosanna!" with their branches today. Since palm isn't native to Arkansas, we used cedar. Mr. Intensity is in the yellow shirt.

This is Holy Week, leading up to Resurrection Sunday. Passionate Homemaking has Resources for a Purposeful Easter. Specifically I printed this pdf from there to make our week meaningful. We will also be using Resurrection Eggs (which I've seen for sale at Hobby Lobby).

What are you doing to celebrate Christ's defeat of death? I would love to know and incorporate it into our week.

I love the picture of the kids using what greenery they have to re-enact the triumphal entry.

We do a lot of acting in our home and just spent the morning acting out the triumphal entry!

I just posted about some of the things we enjoy doing around easter at my blog: Easter celebrating ideas
