The Weekend

Friday night seven teen girls from our street and Mr. Intensity wrecked my kitchen made sugar cookies.  It was a lot of fun getting to know the girls I see riding their bikes up and down the street.

We made the cookies for Saturday afternoon's Easter Egg Hunt.  Below is a picture of the egg toss.  I didn't take more pictures because I was running around crazy - trying to organize the party.  The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.  There were more "big kids" than little kids at the party.  :)

The rest of the weekend has been spent playing in our neighbor's yard, who lost the huge tree in the storm.  All the kids have had a BLAST playing on and in the tree.  So much fun that Hubby and I decided to make a sign for the neighbor's yard.

Above: Mr. Intensity with a whacking stick.  The children were encouraged to knock the dirt free from the roots.  They have LOVED this assignment.
