Last December, Hubby and his team put the finishing touches on the video based marriage conference called The Art of Marriage. This December they are starting work on a manhood video series based on Dennis Rainey's recent release, Stepping Up.
The idea around today's video shoot was based on a true story. Bob Helvey, now in his 50's, remembers when he was a boy and had a paper route. Not to give away all the details, but he didn't quite finish the job. A neighbor told his dad who then called Bob up to manhood and told him, "a man never quits."
I think it will be a powerful piece once finished. One of our neighbors graciously allowed Hubby to film in his home. Hubby played the part of Dad and Mr. Intensity was the boy.
Sister needed a bit of Daddy time.
And I'm in love with these shoes.
The final scene was filmed in our living room. They worked hard all day, from 8am to 5pm. The final clip will only be three minutes. This experience gave me and Mr. Intensity a new appreciation for Daddy's work on the Art of Marriage! We were all tired.
At dinner I asked Mr. Intensity if he were ready to become an actor. "No way!"

That was quite an experience! Glad he has given up acting already. I can hardly wait to see it!
