Metamorphosis

I found four caterpillars on my parsley. 

  Two found new families, one died.

 This one remains.

 Last night it morphed into its chrysalis.  So cool.

 Here's a time lapsed video (different species) if you've never seen the transformation.  Truly amazing.

And now we wait for the swallowtail butterfly to emerge.
