Natural Bridge

Another fun adventure close to my parents' house is Natural Bridge State Park. Hubby, Mom and I hiked the 1/2 mile to the top while Mr. Intensity and my dad took the sky lift (which looks like a ski lift.) Mr. Intensity LOVED the sky lift. He said it was like a train.

Below is a picture of Mr. Intensity with my dad (& mom in orange) on top of the bridge.
This is "Fat Man's Gulch." When Hubby said that to Mr. Intensity, he said to my dad, "Papa, if you're fat, you can't come in here."
We found some wild raspberries. Yum. This is "Balanced Rock." The hike was almost too beautiful for words.
Look at the roots of the tree, growing on the rock. Crazy.
After hiking, Mr. Intensity wanted to ride the paddle boats - like at our zoo. I was thankful that he let me sit in the shade.
