Today he finished a sketch he has been working on for a while. We've been married twelve years and this is the first drawing project I've seen. I knew that he had talent but ... wow. Never in a million years would I have been able to draw what he did.
Earlier this summer FamilyLife began the much needed process of updating Passport to Purity, a thirteen year-old product, that despite its age, continues to increase in its influence every year. Passport to Purity is a weekend getaway for a parent and child to help prepare for the teen years. Topics include peer pressure, purity of the heart, dating, and a biblical view of sex. Along with updates to the workbook, there has also been updates to the audio. Some are super fun. Other changes are very cool...like the scripture songs are now by Seeds Family Worship.
His sketch will be printed in the Passport to Purity student workbook. The four panels fit together to make one continuous page. Pre-teens will write on this page in the workbook to help them think through and establish physical boundaries with the opposite sex.
Over and out. Just wanted to brag on my man.
