inEXPENSIVE Toy

I didn't realize how much milk we drink until I started collecting the lids.  Melissa made a fun miniature matching game that prompted me to save the tops.

Mr. Intensity isn't quite into matching but I started keeping the milk lids anyway.

They've proven to be quite the toy.  So many endless possibilities.

I kept this new toy hidden for a long time.  Once we'd collected about 30 I disclosed them to him with no particular activity in mind.

- Hours- I tell you. He's played with these for hours. Not at one time, mind you.
He's enjoyed sorting, counting, stacking, designing, making patterns and using them as tokens or money.  They're all the same size (though from different brands and fat content).

So far, we have 52 lids.  If each gallon cost $3, that rings up to the tune of $156.

Which is the most expensive toy he's had all year.

More fun with milk tops here.

Can I tell you how much I love the fact he is playing and counting, sorting etc... all on your kitchen counter... awesome!

How cool! Funny that they play with the "Not-a-toy" more than the ones from ToysRus.
